Quanlan Island

quan-lan-quang-ninh1Is located in Baitulong Bay, 25km away from Campha Town to the southeast. In the 12th century, the island used to be a busy and important center for trade between Vietnam and foreign fleets. Although it is far from the mainland, there is a whole complex of valuable historical vestiges and relics found here, such as: ancient communal houses, pagodas, shrines and trade ports. Particularly, the local community has retained and developed the traditional customs and typical festivals of the northern fishing villages.

Visiting the island, visitors can enjoy the local seafood and beaches of white sand, which is also used to make glass.
